Terms of use

Last updated October 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of evinstallerhub.com ("EV Installer Hub", "we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What this site is

EV Installer Hub publishes guides about home EV charger installation and a directory of California electrical contractors. It is free to use.

We are not a contractor or a broker

We are not an electrician, a contractor or a contractor referral service, and we don't do, arrange, supervise or guarantee any work. Installers listed on this site are independent businesses. Any agreement you make is between you and the installer. Before you hire anyone, check their license yourself on the CSLB website, get a written quote, and make sure the job is permitted.

Information on this site

We check listings against public CSLB records and show the date we checked, but records change and we can make mistakes. Costs in our guides are typical ranges from cited sources, not quotes. Everything here is general information, not professional, electrical, legal or financial advice. Please confirm anything important before you rely on it.

Quote and shortlist requests

If you send us a request, we use your details only as our privacy policy describes. Sending a request doesn't create a contract with us or with any installer, and we can't promise a reply, a price or availability.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you buy or sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Listings and rankings are never paid, and commissions don't change what we write. Read our full affiliate disclosure.

Links to other sites

We link to installers, government sites and other websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products or services.

Acceptable use

Please don't scrape the site in bulk, try to break or overload it, or submit false or abusive requests.

No warranty and limit of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, EV Installer Hub isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from work done by any installer you find here.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
